New Cooperation-Partners for UP!

We are happy to announce that we are now cooperating with SocialBnb, Lichtstrahl e.V. and Enactus Kenya! They are part of our growing partners’ network, with the aim to support our projects by offering them their advice, expertise as well as access to their local connections. With this aim in mind, we are now in the process of connecting Afya and Enevra, 2 of our projects, with Ugandan NGOs which cooperate with SocialBnb. Additionally, we want to take advantage of this cooperation, to give our projects, as well as ourselves, some insights into doing work in Uganda and building a local network there. This is the beginning of an exciting and very promising cooperation with all these three partners and we are really looking forward to working with them!
New Experts joining UP!

Ulrich Rieger is Senior Ministerial Councillor - Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs. He has a lot to do with Ugandan entrepreneurs, he is very well connected and eager to share his knowledge and contacts with our team.
Heike Rath is an anesthesia and intensive care nurse as well as the founder of the Lichtstrahl Uganda e.V.. Through her organization, she has been operating in Uganda and helping children in need for many years, by ensuring that basic medical supplies, nutrition, but also access to education are provided.
Simon Achelis is the Program Lead of Enactus Kenya. He is responsible for coordinating affiliate university student activities and providing program support for Enactus Kenya. He has a lot of experience in working in Africa and he is very excited to share it with us.
They will be taking part in our series of expert talks with topics varying from intercultural communication to business in Uganda, which are available to the public and where our projects, but also anyone else attending, can ask questions they might have. Apart from that, our experts will also be available in UPfacts, where our projects will be able to get into contact with them any time. We are very happy to have them as part of our network!

Great news from the UP! team! As part of our strategy to expand our social media presence, we have created an official UP! account on LinkedIn and Instagram. There, we aim to add regular content which will give our followers insights into what we have been up to, as well as who we are and what our mission is. In the future, we also plan to use these channels as a platform where we will post instructional videos made by experts about topics such as “How to transfer money to Uganda” or “What to have in mind when travelling to Uganda”. On another note, we have now also created our first pitch video where we present UP! and our projects, which you can find in our channels mentioned above, but also in our homepage. Make sure to give us a follow and stay tuned for our future content!
