afya is a social start-up originated as a project of Enactus Mannheim e.V. an organisation dedicated to tackling social, environmental and economic problems worldwide through entrepreneurship, innovation and sustainability. afya focuses on one of the greatest health problems, malnutrition.

Bad drinking water supply in west Kenya is a big problem. Due to contaminated rivers people get sick and suffer under various epidemics. Goal: Improve drinking water supply with the help of filters.
